1. About This Website
This website (https://www.soni4u.com) is operated by Soni4u Insurance & Investment Solutions ("Soni4u", "we", "us", "our"). By browsing this website, submitting an enquiry, or contacting Soni Kochukunju through any channel listed here, you agree to the terms set out on this page. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the website.
These terms apply to the website only. They do not replace, and are not a substitute for, the policy documents, proposal forms or terms and conditions issued directly by the insurance companies named below when you purchase a policy.
2. Our Role as an Insurance Agent
Soni Kochukunju is a licensed insurance agent / financial advisor who facilitates the sale and servicing of insurance and investment products on behalf of the companies listed on this website. Soni4u is not an insurance company, a broker, or a fund house.
We are an authorised intermediary for the following insurers, and place policies with them directly:
Life Insurance Corporation of India
The New India Assurance Co. Ltd.
Manipal Cigna Health Insurance
Star Health & Allied Insurance
The insurer, not Soni4u, underwrites every policy, decides on claim approval, sets premiums, and is the contracting party once a policy is issued. Our role is advisory and administrative: understanding your needs, recommending suitable products, assisting with paperwork, and supporting you at renewal or claim time.
3. Products, Quotes & Recommendations
Any product information, illustrative figures, premium estimates, or returns mentioned on this website or shared in conversation are indicative only and are subject to change by the respective insurer or fund house without notice.
Final premiums, sum assured, exclusions, waiting periods, surrender values and returns are governed solely by the policy document / Key Feature Document issued by the insurer at the time of purchase. In case of any difference between information on this website and the official policy document, the policy document will prevail.
Investment-linked products (SIP, mutual funds, ULIPs, SIIP) are subject to market risk. Past performance of any fund is not indicative of future returns. Please read all scheme-related documents carefully, and take investment decisions based on your own assessment of risk and goals.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and truthful information in any proposal form, health declaration, or KYC document — inaccurate disclosure can affect claim settlement or lead to policy cancellation by the insurer.
- Review your policy document, premium due dates, and renewal terms once a policy is issued.
- Notify us or the insurer promptly of any change in address, nominee, health status, or other details relevant to your policy.
- Keep copies of premium receipts, policy documents and correspondence for your own records.
5. Website Use & Content
Content on this website — text, layout, logos and images other than insurer trademarks — belongs to Soni4u and is provided for general information about our services. It may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission.
Partner names, logos and trademarks (LIC, New India Assurance, Manipal Cigna, Star Health) remain the property of their respective companies and are used here solely to indicate our authorised association with them.
We aim to keep this website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions at all times. We may update, correct or remove content without prior notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Soni4u is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on illustrative figures shown on this website, decisions made by an insurer on underwriting or claims, delays caused by the insurer's own processes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the policy contract issued by the insurer or under applicable insurance regulation.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute relating to the use of this website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kerala. Grievances relating to a specific policy are handled as per the grievance redressal process of the concerned insurer and, where applicable, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
8. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in regulatory requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
